There are many reasons we love to live in Parry Sound and actually look forward to the winter months.
Here's our suggestion for things to do:
Make snow angels in the backyard
Have fun with snowballs - juggle or stack them to build a snowman
Go tobogganing at Kinsmen Park
Go on a winter picnic
Lie in the snow and watch how the moon and stars sparkle at night
Go ice fishing
Rent snowshoes or a kick-sled from White Squall Paddling Centre's in-town store
Go cross-country skiing at Georgian Nordic Ski Club
Hike the shores of Georgian Bay along the trail in town, or up at Killbear Provincial Park

I know I'm biased when it comes to the reasons why I think it is better to stay here at 40 Bay Street Bed & Breakfast then a hotel, but let me start out by telling you how we are the same.
Just like a hotel, the B&B offers:
Are you looking for a unique holiday gift for someone special? Is there someone you would like to surprise? Have you got someone who is really picky on your Christmas list this year?
Why not give them a gift certificate to 40 Bay Street Bed & Breakfast?
Rated on Trip Advisor as the Best Place To Stay In Parry Sound, our guests have given us 5/5 for:
Located just steps from 40 Bay Street Bed & Breakfast is Canada's largest sightseeing cruise boat. The Island Queen seats 550 passengers, and is fully wheelchair accessible. It is 132' long, 30' wide with a draft of only 6'. This allows the boat to cruise very closely to the shore, and offers passengers the opportunity for incredible views and picture-taking opportunities.
